Strengthening Connections

Strengthening Connections (SC) is composed of BC post-secondary institutes and employers we call “joiners” that travel together to local high schools and Indigenous communities to encourage Indigenous youth to continue their learning journey.

Employer reps can range from organizations such as the RCMP, Canadian Forces, Island Health, Indspire, and more, and focus on career opportunities for Indigenous learners.

We provide events in a format that works best for Indigenous participants, such as career fairs, presentations, or some other activity that promotes information sharing.

Our primary focus is connecting Indigenous Learners with education opportunities.
